We had 3 nights and 4
days holiday in Budapest. In our first day, we went to a relax mode,
just shopping around after arriving at the city and receiving our
apartment at midday.
In the evening, we took
the bus go to Castle hill for sightseeing.
View from Castle hill
to the other side.
We found something to
eat in KFC near to our place.
In second day, we went
to Great market hall for breakfast.
I wanted to try goulash soup. Even though I had eaten goulash before and made it in Finland, but I wanted to know how the authentic one taste, so I decided to eat goulash for breakfast. The seller asked me if I wanted it with rice, and cabbage, sauce...I thought it included in a portion but no, you had to pay extra for what you take. Finally, I ended up paying triple the price, around 10 euros and was not able to eat them all, maybe one third of it, I should have asked the children size dish. Anyway, I like the goulash, it was suitable with rice and cabbage and the sauce.
The market sells a
great variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat ...
In the evening we went
to Spoon, a boat restaurant to have dinner which we booked many days
in advanced. The place is very fancy and you could see the castle
hill on the other side. However, the food wasn't up to my
expectation. Friendly staffs, good service, ok food with gorgeous
view. It's good to try once, I guess.
I
ordered Salmon
steak and Tiger prawn, cauliflowers, ice cabbage
My
boyfriend ordered Beef tenderloin steak, Belgian beer brown sauce,
Jerusalem artichoke chips, sweet potato cream
The toilet in the
restaurant, so chic
