Short trip to Stockholm, 2019

We took a boat trip with Vikingline to Stockholm, Sweden in the last week of October

Going to a vegan buffet restaurant named Hermans

Hermans has a wide selection of different warm foods and salads, as well well tea. The location is very nice, my table has a view overlooking the sea, in summer I guess it's gorgeous.

I love how they decorate the restaurant, with the wooden furniture and plants, which is very cozy

I'm not getting tired of yellow leaves and blue sky yet.

Again, pretty yellow leaves, distinctive autumn are everywhere

What I ate this week

I have been trying to eat more healthy these days and starting using oat drink for my coffee, smoothies...instead of milk. Here are some of my vegetable foods this week.

Breakfast

Oat porridge with cinnamon, coconut sugar, topped with banana, persimmon and coconut flakes

Dark bread with peanut butter, banana slices, coconut flakes

Lunch: Pasta with onion, mushroom, cherry tomatoes sauce

Vegetarian spicy noodle soup or bun bo hue chay. Despite the simple look, it tastes very delicious. I made the broth with lots of onions, pear, lemon grass, and spices for a long time to get the desired flavours. 

Snack: persimmon

Smoothie

Peanut butter smoothie: banana, oat drink, peanut butter, cacao powder, coconut sugar

Green smoothie: mango, papaya and pineapple mix, banana, spinach, oat drink, coconut water, and a bit of dried moringa leaves.

Budapest, part 2

On the third day in Budapest, we were very pleased and lucky to find some good places to eat. At lunch time, we were so hungry that we just quickly went to some places near by to have lunch. We found a Vietnamese restaurant name Sao, it means a name of a bird in Vietnamese. They actually makes delicious foods and drinks with affordable price.

In the evening, we went to Local Korner, a very small pizza place according to my boyfriend suggestion. It was one of the best pizza I have ever eaten, I was happy that we went there to try out. If you happen to be in Budapest, I would suggest 2 places above in case you like Asian or pizza.  

  

Night program: we took one hour long evening sightseeing cruise. I hesitated to go there at first but then it was so much fun and the view was so spectacular, no regret with my choice.
